We are a supportive, welcoming, creative community space, providing access to pottery, facilities and regular classes in other crafts. All are welcome!

We are a registered Community Interest Company, which means we operate for the benefit of our community, in a fair and financially sustainable way and use surplus income to improve our facilities.

When you join MOA you'll start by attending eight staffed sessions. During these sessions members work independently, but we will be on-hand to  provide guidance and ensure the studio is used safely.

Your eight sessions can be booked as and when you want during our staffed session times. These run term-time, on the following days/times:

  • Tuesdays 3.30- 6 & 6- 8.30pm

  • Thursdays 3.30- 6 & 6- 8.30pm

  • Saturdays 10am- 12.30pm

Our next term runs Saturday January 6th to Tuesday March 26th.

- Payment for eight 2.5hr sessions (to be used within 3 months) is taken in three £50 payments.

- Session credit is allocated within 24hrs and you can then book when it suits you

- Firing and all materials (clay, slips, glazes) is charged at £1 per 100grams for the finished pots (a mug weighs about 300grams)

After your eight staffed sessions, if you and we are comfortable that you can use the studio independently you can move to long-term independent membership. This provides access to the studio 6 days per week, and during holidays. Long-term independent membership is charged at £35 per month + £5 per session. As an independent member you can still attend staffed-sessions, and we'll still be available to provide guidance.

Session credit will be allocated within 24hrs, you will receive an email
